Desde el 2012 Melissa Aldrete y Luis Cárdenas trabajan con la finalidad de estudiar, analizar y encontrar la mejor adaptación del pasado con el presente, para así aspirar a la constante mejora de las cosas y/o actividades que nos rodean, conviven y van creciendo a la par de una sociedad. En nuestra práctica mantenemos la filosofía y el oficio para poder avanzar rápido, pero sin prisa, y así mantenernos en constante reflexión con el material, el ser y nuestro entorno.

La arcilla es un material que te hace consciente de conceptos como el tiempo, la transformación , el progreso, la historia, la naturaleza, el clima. Marca el ritmo entre el hacer y el pensar, lo cual nutre el desarrollo de los proyectos que nacen en el taller.
La experimentación, es nuestro proceso de trabajo.
Nos ha enseñado a compartir y a entregarnos enteramente al proceso con tal de mantener la eterna búsqueda personal y material, para así conectar nuevas posibilidades que ayuden a su comprensión, adaptación y perpetuidad.

Since 2012 Melissa Aldrete and Luis Cárdenas have been working with the purpose of studying, analyzing and finding the best adaptation of the past with the present, in order to aspire to the constant improvement of the things and/or activities that surround us, coexist and grow at the pair of a society. In our practice we maintain the philosophy and the trade to be able to advance quickly, but without haste, and thus keep ourselves in constant reflection with the material, the being and our environment.
The material in our practice guides our process.
Clay is a material that makes you aware of concepts such as time, transformation, progress, history, nature, weather. It marks the rhythm between doing and thinking, which nourishes the development of the projects that are born in the workshop.
Experimentation is our work process.
It has taught us to share and to give ourselves entirely to the process in order to maintain the eternal personal and material search, in order to connect new possibilities that help its understanding, adaptation and perpetuity.
