¡Hágase la luz y la luz se hizo!
Expuso la vulnerabilidad que nos acompaña, separó aquello que es, de lo que debería ser, revelo los colores del mundo y desde entonces vivimos intentando entenderla, evitarla, aprovecharla, controlarla o seguirla.
Es mejor ver la luz desde la sombra; a través de algo, el exceso de luz nos cegaría. La translucidez es de esos puntos medios en los cuales un cuerpo deja pasar la luz pero nunca revela lo que contiene en su totalidad, nos da la oportunidad de soltar hacia un azar y formar una representación de algo que nos de sentido o respuesta.
Hacemos con la premisa de entendernos, de entender nuestro entorno y sus materiales, en esta exposición buscamos momentos translucidos, no solo a travez del material, si no a travez del espacio y lo que se refleja en nosotros, buscamos el valor de la sombra, de las manchas, de ese constante cambio que aunque se iluminara sería imperceptible, por que cuando algo es alumbrado, no significa nada hasta que es visto, la luz no descubre, evidencia.
Es necesario retirar todo aquello en nosotros que no nos permite querer ver; o se ilumina o se es iluminado, pero nadie se ilumnia dos veces bajo la misma luz.
Let there be light and there was light!
It exposed the vulnerability that accompanies us, it separated what is from what should be, it revealed the colors of the world and since then we have lived trying to understand it, avoid it, take advantage of it, control it or follow it.
It is better to see the light from the shadow; through something, excess light would blind us. Translucency is one of those midpoints in which a body lets light pass through but never reveals what it contains in its entirety, it gives us the opportunity to let go of chance and form a representation of something that gives us meaning or an answer.
We do it with the premise of understanding ourselves, of understanding our environment and its materials, in this exhibition we look for translucent moments, not only through the material, but through space and what is reflected in us, we look for the value of the shadow, of the spots, of that constant change that even if it were illuminated would be imperceptible, because when something is illuminated, it means nothing until it is seen, the light does not discover, evidence.
It is necessary to remove everything in us that does not allow us to want to see; Either one lights up or one is illuminated, but no one is illuminated twice under the same light.
