¿Se podrá aportar algo a estas alturas al ramo cerámico?

¿Por qué en lugar de solo modificar cantidades en las recetas, no introducimos nuevos agentes a las mezclas?

¿Será necesario accidentar el proceso cerámico? 

¿Los accidentes son errores?

¿El error deja rastros?

¿Y si en lugar de seguir rastros los provocamos…?

 

R A S T R O S  es la terca necedad de buscar pretextos para la creación de nuevas rutas, la búsqueda de nuevos destinos y los deseos de encontrar nuevos significados del material, del ser y de su entorno.

En este primer acercamiento es inevitable detectar la similitud que encontramos del proceso cerámico con los procesos culinarios: recetas, ingredientes, texturas, cuerpos, consistencia…..es por eso que para nosotros el mezclar no es solo una combinación si no también una contradicción, en donde los agentes mantienen la identidad en sus componentes.

 

Esta investigación nos convenció de que somos “hacedores” y como bien lo describe el narrador, poeta y ensayista guatemalteco Javier Payeras: “ Los hacedores son aquellos que apuestan la vida al creer y al crear….son necios o pacientes, brillantes o locos. Ser un hacedor tiene requisitos: el primero la terquedad, el segundo la paciencia y el tercero ser fuerte, mucho, y en eso quizá se resuma todo…”

Can you contribute something to the ceramic industry at this point?

Why, instead of only modifying quantities in recipes, do we not introduce new agents to mixtures?

T R A C E S is the stubborn foolishness of looking for pretexts for the creation of new routes, the search for new destinations and the desire to find new meanings of material, of being and of the environment.

In this first approach, it is inevitable to detect the similarity that we find between the ceramic process and culinary processes: recipes, ingredients, textures, bodies, consistency… ..that is why for us mixing is not only a combination but also a contradiction, where the agents maintain the identity in their components.

 

This research convinced us that we are "doers" and as the Guatemalan narrator, poet and essayist Javier Payeras describes it well: "Doers are those who bet their lives on believing and creating ... they are foolish or patient, brilliant or crazy. Being a doer has requirements: the first stubbornness, the second patience, and the third to be strong, a lot, and in that perhaps everything is summed up ..."
